Learn how to build a basic yet aesthetic website from start to finish with Weebly. This platform is great for small business, non-profits, or any venture that seeks to collect payments from customers or donors. We will explore design consistency, proper URL naming and acquisition, image editing, logos, build (using Weebly), add-ons (Google calendar, contact forms, PayPal buttons, etc.), proofing, and publication. Remember, this is a basic website, not an ecommerce powerhouse! Students will need to know their way around a computer! If using a MAC, please have the Google Chrome browser installed.

The instructor is patient and prepared to answer your questions. The type of Android phones we will be working with are: Samsung, Motorola, Google, Nokia, etc. This class will not include Apple/iPhones.

Now that you've learned the basics of your Android phone, learn about intermediate level functions: calendar, alarms, world clock, stop watch, countdown timer, settings to improve relaxation and sleep, location sharing, camera and video functionality, as well as some apps to simplify daily tasks. We will also explore using your phone to scan barcodes which may allow you to shop faster through some apps. PREREQUISITE: Getting to Know Your Android Phone.

Want to learn how digital marketing can extend your business reach? We will explore how the craft of writing intriguing social media posts, properly implemented search engine optimization, and some Google tools can set you apart from the crowd. Also, how ChatGPT and Canva can aid in some tasks. Lastly, your websites and social media pages will be constructively critiqued with goals assigned. You will need a Gmail account (you will need to log into your account in order to access Google tools).
